Community Living Campbellford/Brighton, located at 65 Bridge Street East in Campbellford, was the recent recipient of a $1,000 grant donated through the RBC Employee “Day of Giving” Grant Program. As part of this “Day of Giving” Grant, Community Living Campbellford/Brighton was also the recipient of an entire morning of volunteerism on May 28, 2014.
Spearheaded by Stacey Dello, RBC Financial Planner based out of the Hastings, ON Branch and Community Living Campbellford/Brighton Board President John Mood, an enthusiastic group comprised of former RBC employees/volunteers and fellow Board Members volunteered their time, energy and gardening tools towards the beautification of flowerbeds and grounds at two of their organization’s locations in Campbellford. In accordance with grant guidelines, accompanying Ms. Dello were Board Members, John Mood, President, Sean Clair, Vice-President, Chris Park, Past-President, Marion Fennell, Director, Marlene Mood, RBC Retiree/Volunteer and Elizabeth Park, RBC Retiree/Volunteer.
The Community Living Campbellford/Brighton Board of Directors will utilize 100% of these donated resources in the continuance of their Mission Statement of “…providing support and services to people that promote opportunities for personal growth within their community”. Community Living Campbellford/Brighton has been providing quality supports to people with an intellectual disability in Northumberland County for over 50 years.
