Jason Chessar of J’s Magic 

 

Mr. Chessar’s youth was spent overcoming a hearing related disability and speech impediment that left him both shy and unable to be comfortable in social situations. “The Magic of Speaking” is a personal tale about his own challenges learning to function and speak in public.

Finding refuge in learning magic; Mr. Chessar used that ability and the help of friends to learn to gradually find the skills and courage to function and eventually flourish in public situations. An accomplished magician, Chessar set personal goals that included participating in and winning a major speaking competition; a goal that he has now achieved.
